500 years of family farming
The same family has been farming on these fields for 500 years. The estate currently comprises of a number of acres spread across four units, 400 acres of which are arable. Beef, Pigs, Sheep, Chickens and our herd of 400 organically managed Dairy Cows, milked in our new state of the art milking parlour.
100% Organic since 1997
The productive land is in part an accredited Organic Farm, and has been so since 1997, and four hundred Milking cows and followers are raised and managed on the land, with milk processed from our new state of the art milking parlour, straight to our processing unit at the Chew Valley Dairy.
Living and farming our land is a privilege. One we don’t take for granted. Our goal is to create sustainable working farm to source our electricity from biogas, generated from farm and dairy waste.
